While we’re always working to make our experiences available to all, it will depend on the specific experience, what food is already offered, and what can be easily replaced if need be. Our team will contact you prior to confirming a culinary experience to make sure the food served meets your and/or your group's dietary needs. We will notify you 48 hours before the experience start time if we need to postpone or cancel, in the case of a heavy rain forecast. Still, we recommend you bring a raincoat anyway in case of unexpected rain. Otherwise, the Armenian sun can be quite strong – even in the colder months – and we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Depending on your experience of choice, your dining area may also be arranged under a canopy. Finally, keep in mind that even in the warmer months, the evenings can get quite cool, so we suggest bringing warm layers.

Though we cannot control the exact conditions on the day of your experience, insect repellent will be available for you to use in case of small critters. We have done our best to select locations where there are few such creatures, but there is a chance you will come across other animals such as various birds, rabbits, mice, foxes, and snakes. Don’t worry – wild animals generally avoid people in these parts. Our local guides and hosts will advise you on what to do in such situations.

Drivers with an international driving permit or a driver's license from a country that is signatory to the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic can drive in Armenia. You’ll need to come to Armenia with a valid international driver’s permit in order to drive in Armenia. As a reminder, Canada, Lebanon, and the United States are not part of the Vienna Convention. Click here for a full list of all participating countries. If you come from a country that notes the type of vehicle on licenses (manual/automatic gear), then you should make sure it is noted in your permit. U.S. drivers can get an AAA international driver’s permit to drive in Armenia. Keep in mind that the adventure vehicle currently available as part of our road trips is manual. If you do not know how to drive manual but still want to discover Armenia with us, we highly recommend you practice driving manually before you arrive in Armenia.

There are generally no government regulations regarding camping in natural public spaces in Armenia, apart from state-protected reserves. Just make sure you aren’t trespassing on private property and be mindful of terrain and season. For example, summer in the South can get quite dry, and starting campfires is strongly advised against. We also ask that you follow the principles of Leave No Trace, which means taking all your waste with you when you leave your campsite.

Overall, Armenia is a safe place to travel, with a considerably low overall crime rate. You can drive just about anywhere in Armenia, though road conditions may be poor depending on remoteness or time of year – the colder months yield poorer road conditions. If possible, we recommend you exercise caution when driving outside of cities and towns in the dark due to lack of street lighting. Furthermore, we advise against travel within 5km of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which is closed.

Absolutely. Simply indicate the desired date in the booking window, located on the right side of each experience page, and we will make the necessary arrangements. Please note that we cannot schedule experiences more than 6 months in advance.

Yes, there is usually a deadline for booking experiences, typically 48 hours in advance, although for some experiences it may be 24 hours in advance. To confirm the booking deadline, please refer to the experience page for the experience you’d like to book.

You will be asked to provide payment information when you book an experience through this platform. We use Stripe, a trusted payment processor worldwide, to process all payments. With Stripe, we accept major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and others.

Once the payment for your booking is successfully processed, you should see a message indicating that it has been confirmed. You will also receive an email confirmation that your booking has been registered and accepted. Finally, you will see your newly booked experience on the “My Experiences” section of your profile on our platform.

Yes, you can make changes or cancellations to your booking, but the specific terms will vary depending on the experience. Some experiences, for example, only allow for cancellation if requested at least 72 hours in advance of the experience, while others are more flexible. It’s best to review the cancellation policy in the “Things to Know” section of your experience’s page before making a booking to understand your options in case you need to make changes or cancellations. In order to receive a full refund for a canceled booking, make sure to read the cancelation policy for your chosen experience, which can be found on its page. For further details on refunds, please refer to our Terms and Conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds after the experience has been completed.

Though it isn’t likely to happen, in the case that a host must cancel your experience due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund. Should your schedule allow and you’re still interested in trying out the experience, we encourage you to re-book for a different date.
